Litherland Park, moving to Bromley in Kent aged 3, then moving
back to Liverpool to go to University aged 18. Now living with boyfriend
Nick in Wavertree.
Christina attended St James RC primary school and Bullers Wood

and gained a post graduate diploma in Audiology, now working as an audiologist in
Southport and Ormskirk Hospital. |
Christina’s scouting life started by attending a cub camp aged 3 with her family. Her
enthusiasm for scouting can be blamed on her Dad who was also a scout leader.
She then attended Brownies, Guides, venture scouts and acted as a Brownie young
leader and a guide young leader.
On going to University she started the Student Scout and Guide group or SLAGS, which
is still running strong. Her Merseyside Network adventure began last year after attending
a meeting in the pub. Since then she has taken on an active role and has become
involved in NAB, the support team, the admin team and attended many events including
the gathering and Merseymoot.
Christina is currently a Guide Leader after the Ranger group she was the leader of
folded as the girls were poached across to Explorer scouts. She is working towards her
Leadership qualification.
Christina has worked at two international scout camps in Kent enjoying the experience
of a lifetime. She has also attended the Moot in Mexico in 2000 and plans to attend
the Moot in Mafikeng later in the year.
Outside of Scouting Christina is a qualified Scuba diver, obtaining her qualifications after
spending a month on an Indonesian island working for the charity Operation
Wallacea.
Post script.
Chris, despite arriving at NETWORK at the top of the age bracket, you have put a lot into
the group, and we are pleased that you wish to carry on in the supportive role, when
very soon it is time for you to move on. Thank you for your hard work and support to
date and we look forward to your continued input.
